Two teenagers who were possibly poisoned with narcotic or psychotropic substances were brought to the Marijampole hospital on Sunday.

As reported by the Police Department, they were brought to the treatment facility around 3 p.m. 3 minutes from Marijampolė municipality, the houses in the village of Puskelnii.

A minor born in 2008 and a minor born in 2009 were admitted for treatment.

The circumstances of the incident are being investigated.

A pre-trial investigation has been launched into the distribution of narcotic or psychotropic substances to minors.

Anyone who distributes narcotic or psychotropic substances to minors is punished by imprisonment from three to twelve years.
