On social networks, people started sharing information about another traffic accident in Alytus – a car crashed into the barriers of the roundabout. It is said that the accident happened on Naujaja Street.
It can be seen from the images that the impact was strong, not only the fences were bent, the lighting pole and the road sign were broken.
The news portal autogidas.lt reports that the Chrysler crashed into the barriers of the “Hurry slowly” roundabout, and its driver ran away.
A mysterious call to the services
As the police informed, after the traffic accident, around 17:16, a report was received that 2 hours ago the reporter was assaulted by 3 unknown persons, one of whom stole the reporter’s Chrysler car and drove away.
When officers went to the designated location, the reporter was not found. He speaks incoherently on the phone, does not give a specific location.
Also, the person who caused the accident was not found.
This is not the first traffic accident in Alytus. Around 12 o’clock A car and a motorcycle collided heavily on the new street. Both drivers were taken to hospital. Read more about it here.
