A suspicious Mercedes was driving around Plunge in broad daylight: the officers had to block the road

As informed by Klaipėda county VPK officials, on Tuesday around 6:24 p.m. The driver of the stopped Mercedes Benz car, born in 1997, in Plungė, J. Tumo-Vaižganto str., was clearly drunk, but he refused to be tested for sobriety.

The person is detained.

The incident was recorded by witnesses. The video shows that the person sitting in the car does not get out of the vehicle himself, he is pulled out by police officers. The Mercedes Benz car was taken from the scene by a special vehicle to a storage area.

15 minutes found out that the car was driven by a well-known man from Plungus, Vaidotas Čižauskas, known to the authorities. Another case that happened in January of last year is also remembered.

A video taken by police officers was released in the media, showing how a BMW was caught after Plunge, which was traveling at a speed of more than 200 km per hour. The driver did not obey the officers, they had to break the car window. V. Čižauskas was also sitting in the car then.
