The electricity supplier of the Ignitis Group, Ignitis, which manages the electric car charging network Ignitis ON, will organize 20 charging points near the Mega shopping center in Kaunas, the company announced.
Ignitis and Mega’s manager, Baltic Shopping Centers, have reached an agreement regarding the preparation of fast loading access on rows 1 and 14.
By the end of the year, we will provide electric car drivers with convenient charging accesses in Kaunas, where, like all other Ignitis ON charging accesses, electric cars are charged only with electricity produced from renewable sources in Lithuania, says Eimantas Balta, head of the Igniis Electric Mobility Department.
According to him, Mega is located in the central part of Lithuania, near the Vilnius Klaipda highway, which has a large traffic flow.
Currently, there are 16 Ignitis ON loading access points operating in Kaunas, and almost 400 throughout Lithuania.
