The second music festival of the Vilnius Town Hall “Playing Sparkling Sparkles” is coming

Warming weather and returning birds symbolize not only the coming joy of spring, but also the new season of the Vilnius Town Hall Music Festival. The annual week of the “Sparkling Sparkles Game”, which has already become a tradition, this time invites you to immerse yourself in the worlds of music and various arts, which will be united by famous, talented and inventive Lithuanian and Japanese/German families.

They will be opened for the listeners by the famous Bazar brothers, the talented Daunytė sisters, the Anderssons, the newlyweds who are conquering the world’s most famous stages, the wonderful musical Lipčiai family, and the wonderful Japanese pianist Nami Ejiri and her talented daughters, who will come from Germany. The concerts will be enriched by the famous Lithuanian pianist, professor Aleksandra Žvirblytė, winner of the International MK Čiurlionis Piano Competition Simonas Poška and one of the most outstanding actors of our country, Birutė Mar.

The LNF ensemble “Musica Humana” became the orchestra of this year’s festival, and young talents from all over Lithuania will be the sparkling sparks.

All six thematic evenings-concerts will be united by the musical fusions and conversations with the performers, the energy and heart of pianist Guoda Gedvilaitė, the author of the festival idea, and in one of the evenings she herself will embody one of the brightest and strongest women, composers and pianists in the world of music, Clara Schumann.

“I am extremely happy to be able to invite you again this year to a bright, variegated festival that will surprise even the biggest music lovers. This year, listeners can expect a lot of great, carefully selected music, as exceptional performers are preparing many performances specially created for the festival, which are connected by a common idea – family and making music in it.

All six evenings will be different and unique, so paraphrasing the famous phrase – “once you hear one, you won’t be able to stop”, promises the creator and organizer of the festival, who lives in Germany with her family, but is devoted to Lithuania with all her heart and ideas, inviting you to meet in the sparkling music hall of the Vilnius Town Hall on April 5-11 at the festival.

The artistic director of the festival is Guoda Gedvilaitė-Goehle, the festival is organized by the “Muzika visaip” VšĮ.
