In cooperation with the Shell company, a unique high-performance replaceable battery was developed by the Swedish company Anodox Energy Systems. The batteries are manufactured in a newly built factory in Latvia using lithium iron phosphate battery technology.

The batteries are replaceable, quick to charge and have a longer life cycle as the battery can be reused elsewhere after its life has expired. This significantly reduces the battery’s environmental impact. The battery itself does not contain cobalt, it is distinguished by a much higher degree of safety and recyclability.

It is planned that from 2022 The Akinsi Alpha model will be available in Sweden, Luxembourg, Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania and Greece, and in 2023 planned expansion throughout Europe.
