According to updated OECD estimates, Lithuania’s gross domestic product will increase by 1.7 percent this year, by 3.1 percent in the coming year, and by 1.8 percent in Latvia, respectively. and 2.9 percent, while in Estonia it will decrease by 0.4 percent. and will increase by 2.6 percent.

The forecast for the economic development of Latvia in 2024 has worsened by 0.1 percentage point, Estonia – by one point (from growth of 0.6%). The 2025 forecast for Latvia has been improved by 0.2 points, and for Estonia – by 0.1 points.

According to the latest OECD estimates, the harmonized average inflation in Lithuania would reach 1.8 percent this year, 2.6 percent next year, 1.7 percent, 2.4 percent in Latvia, and 3.9 percent in Estonia. and 2.1 percent.

Average unemployment in Lithuania will probably be 6.8 percent this year, 6.0 percent in the coming years, and 6.7 percent in Latvia, respectively. and 6.6 percent, in Estonia – 7.0 percent. and 6.8 percent.

The OECD now predicts that the world economy will grow by 3.1 percent in 2024, 3.2 percent in 2025, and 0.7 percent in the euro area alone, respectively. and 1.5 percent, in the USA – 2.6 percent. and 1.8 percent.
