People found out how McDonald’s hamburgers are actually made: everyone was speechless

--

The hamburger is one of the most popular products of the McDonald’s restaurant chain. And we are sure that each of you has asked yourself at least once in your life how it gets so juicy and tasty.

YouTube channel How It’s Made has lifted the veil of secrecy. The video shows the production process from start to finish.

The beef patty is the cornerstone of the McDonald’s burger, and it all starts with the choice of beef. According to the authors of the video, as soon as the beef arrives at the processing plant, it is thoroughly inspected. The film, fat, cartilage and bones are removed from the meat, then it is sent to a meat grinder.

“McDonald’s uses precise blends of beef cuts, including thigh, round and sirloin, to create the perfect balance of flavor and texture.”
– explained in the video.

To make ground meat taste better, it is mixed with salt, pepper and other spices that “enhance the taste”. This is followed by the portioning process. This process ensures that all patties are of the same size and thickness. For this purpose, minced meat is supplied by a special machine. The shaped patties are baked using a unique process called continuous grilling.

The pan is heated to a high temperature and the scones are cooked on both sides for a certain time. This method helps to preserve the aroma and meat juices, so the burgers get a great taste. The steaks are then placed in a heating chamber where they are maintained at the ideal temperature until they are ready to serve.

The reaction of network users

The video caused surprise among the viewers. Many users were skeptical of what they were shown.

  • “If this video isn’t endorsed by McDonald’s… I don’t know what kind of video could be.”
  • “I think this video is incredibly misleading: more than half of the footage is not about McDonald’s products, it’s just plain videos.”
  • “It’s like they’re trying to hypnotize me by repeating the same 5 lines over and over.”
