Piletilevi Group buys controlling stakes in two Polish ticketing companies – kicket and Biletomat. The joint venture will become the second largest in the Polish market, and the Piletilevi Group will be the largest ticketing company in Central Europe, brokering nearly 320 million tickets. euros per year.

According to Piletilevi Group co-owner and CEO Sven Nuutmann, Piletilevi Group is buying well-known Polish market players kicket.com and Biletomat.pl. “After the transaction, Piletilevi Group will own 77% of shares of these companies, and until 2026 our share will increase to 83.8 percent,” said S. According to him, the largest investment in the history of Piletilevi Group will enable the merged company to become a market leader in Poland in the near future. “Now our task is to efficiently combine the acquired companies with our GoOut Poland company already operating in this country, so that the best benefits of Piletilevi Group and new partners reach all our customers as soon as possible,” said Nuutmann.

He added that the presence of an influential ticket brokerage company on the Polish market will provide organizers with financial security, increase competition and offer a wider selection of cultural events to a larger audience. “A ticket sales system with uniform standards and operating in different countries will improve international cultural exchange,” Nuutmann said, adding that the conditions offered to event organizers until now will remain valid even after the merger of the companies.

According to Nuutmann, the technological level of the sales platform of the acquired Polish companies is very good, and this will also speed up the completion of the new Piletilevi Goup platform, in which the company has invested almost six million euros. The new Piletilevi Group platform will be completed in 2025. the first half of the year.

According to kicket CEO Maciejas Wartacz and Biletomat CEO Konrad Kubaczewski, Polish company executives joining the Piletilevi Group, the partnership with the group, which is becoming the largest market player in Central Europe, will ensure the further development of the companies and enable event organizers to offer an even more efficient support in event marketing and ticket sales. “Konrad and I have known each other for more than six years and we always had a common intention to merge and consolidate the industry in Poland. Thanks to the Piletilevi Group and the private equity fund BaltCap, we can finally make it happen and become the second largest ticketing company in Poland, with a total ticket sales market value of over one billion euros per year,” said Wartacz.

The deal was signed on Tuesday in the Polish capital, Warsaw, and took effect immediately after signing.
