Mantinga, the largest producer of bread, snacks and frozen products in the Baltic States, continues to increase its production capacity. 34.3 million is invested in a new production line and automation of production processes. euros. According to the CEO of Mantinga Group, Mantas Agents, the rapid growth of the market potential is driving the continuous increase in production capacity.

“We operate in the global market, although we face economic uncertainty, we look at investments from a long-term perspective. We see a lot of opportunities to increase the sales of French stuffed baguettes all over the world, and today the existing production capacity is no longer sufficient, which is why it was decided to invest in the development of this product line”, says M. Agentas.

Among the planned expansion of production is the installation of a new French stuffed baguette production line in 2015. in the built factory. Also, the installation of loading ramps, automatic palletizing and warehouse area, and the adaptation of the area for the access of heavy vehicles. In total, the production area will increase by 8.8 thousand. sq. meters.

“The new automated production line will make it possible to produce higher-quality products, increase their assortment, and also increase the production efficiency of these products, help ensure more efficient production processes and logistics.” In addition, we will increase production automation in already operating production lines and reduce the number of processes that require physical strength,” says M. The new French baguette production line will be the sixth of the planned 8 production lines at the third Mantinga factory. The new production capacity is planned to start operating in 2025. in the third quarter.

The manager points out that this is only the first part of the investment – in the next few years, Mantinga Group plans to invest in several large projects and thus achieve its strategic development goals.

2022-2023 Mantinga Group’s investment in production reached almost 35 million. euros. Currently, 3 factories are operating at full capacity in Marijampolė, and another one is in Latvia.
