NTT Data, the German division of global information technology (IT) leader NTT Group, together with Lithuanian complex IT service provider Reiz Tech, is establishing a joint venture LITIT. In the first year of its operation, it is planned to hire up to 100 specialists, and then in a few years to significantly expand the team.

The new company will focus on providing IT consulting and IT solutions, including software development, strategic IT consulting and application and data platform support. LITIT will focus on German, Austrian and Swiss companies and will cover industries such as automotive, financial services and logistics.

Speaking about the reasons for establishing a joint venture, LITIT General Director Kristina Kikalienė relies on the proven partnership between the two companies: “In the past three years, we have implemented several successful projects together, so it made sense to take another step and create a new brand. We hope to attract highly motivated highly qualified specialists to the new office, whose great potential we see in Lithuania.”

in 2021 In October, several application support specialists from NTT Group and Reiz Tech began a joint project. This partnership has since grown to 35 professionals serving clients in areas as diverse as automotive, banking, insurance and more.

The Minister of Economy and Innovation, Aušrinė Armonaitė, says that this is another success story that will create well-paid jobs in Lithuania: “Another new strong player has appeared in the Lithuanian technology ecosystem, which will employ our specialists and strengthen this sector.”

The new joint venture is expected to focus on talent development in IT development, consulting and application management. This will allow us to expand our activities and, if necessary, open new offices in Kaunas in the future. The company also plans to collaborate with local educational institutions that will contribute to the development of talent in the technology sector.

Elijus Čivilis, CEO of Invest in Lithuania, emphasizes that not only local, but also foreign talents can significantly contribute to the company’s growth in the future.

“The fact that such global technology giants as NTT Data see Lithuania and our local companies as reliable partners for business development is a great appreciation for our business environment and talents. The new company will allow professional growth not only for local specialists, but will also attract foreign talents who will contribute to the further development of the company in Lithuania,” he says.
