Children’s clothing designer Amaia Arrieta – the woman behind many of the young Kensingtons’ outfits – spoke about how the family coped in the weeks and months following Kate’s worrying diagnosis.
A close friend of Prince William and Kate says the couple have been “going through hell” since the princess was diagnosed with cancer.
“I’m heartbroken right now. I think they are going through hell. I hope they come back. It’s very personal,” Amaia told the Telegraph.
Spanish designer Amaia has been designing children’s clothing for the royal family since their eldest son, Prince George, was a baby.
She told the publication that she felt very proud to dress the royal family.
Her designs were first spotted in 2014 when Prince George was seen wearing shorts and knee-high socks.

On the last day of April, Prince William was working in the North East of England, where he met the Earthshot Prize finalists in Seaham, County Durham, and also traveled to Newcastle to officially open James’ Place, a charity for men in suicidal crisis.
The future king, who arrived in Newcastle to visit a suicide prevention charity, was met by several royal fans who waited for him outside with flowers.
One of them was Julie Cain, 60, who had a question for the heir to the throne.
“Do you mind if I ask how your wife and children are doing?” the woman asked Prince William.
Prince William seemed unfazed and revealed how Kate Middleton, who is currently suffering from cancer, is doing. True, the prince’s answer was extremely short.
“Thank you, everyone is doing well. Yes, we are fine,” said Prince William.
