“How everything we did reminded me of my childhood!” Pranks in the yard, building headquarters, climbing trees… It was a time of active self-searching, when you couldn’t stop for even a minute: eating seemed just a waste of time, and sleep – something that comes unexpectedly and you don’t even remember that moment,” he says with a smile. mother of two sons, television rescuer Gerda Žemaitė.

She was happy to find another space for people raising babies, where you can not only celebrate holidays, but also play educational games, develop motor skills, cheerfully delve into the world of science, and have fun on the three-story playground.

“Nikol is now just at that age when he drinks all the experiences into himself. He is a true connoisseur of playgrounds, having celebrated not only his own but also his peers’ birthdays there. Therefore, the new place is a joyful discovery for him”, G. Žemaitė shares after visiting the event organized by “JOY by friends”.

As a child, she was an active, attention-seeking girl who loved the stage and knew popular songs in several languages. Gerda’s mother still laughs when she remembers her daughter’s first day in kindergarten – a quick goodbye at the door in the morning and… not wanting to go home in the evening, because the “groupies” gathered around are listening carefully to the new leader leading the game.

“As a child, I tried everything – athletics, music school, dancing, acting. What I liked the most was everything related to the scene. I dreamed about it all the time, – says G. Žemaitė, – I am for the fact that children should “touch” as many different activities as possible and choose what they value in life”.

Hawthorns are a pleasant memory

She is also supported by singer Donata Virbilaitė, whose daughter Gabija will celebrate her first birthday in a few months. The interlocutor is convinced that the little ones must be given the opportunity to choose, if there is one.

“My mother raised me alone, she didn’t have big finances, so I couldn’t attend a lot of things, even though I wanted to. It was the music school that was the most suitable, – the well-known woman says, – My daughter hasn’t attended anything yet, but I will definitely take her wherever she wants, because I believe that mothers notice a lot.”

D. Virbilaitė, like G. Žemaitė, calls herself a prostitute who liked leadership, team games, and active activities. She notices that today’s little ones get ideal conditions to improve. In the singer’s opinion, such studios as “Ateities väkii” have everything you need – educational, training, entertainment and recreation areas.

“We will try to coordinate all this on Gabytė’s birthday – baptism. We hope that it will be a cozy celebration that will emotionally remind me of the days of my birth, when my mother made a drink, baked zagarelii and we all played together”, says D. Virbilaitė.

Exploring the world

Dancer and choreographer Paulius Šinkūnas was a completely different child than the two previously named ladies.

“I was calm, I didn’t play pranks. I preferred to be alone. I attended music school, martial arts. Like everyone else, I was looking for a way. My daughter and son are also exploring the world. And I welcome it”, says P. Šinkūnas, who participated with his family in the afternoon initiated by “JOY by friends”, where there was plenty of entertainment for everyone.

Older children and their fathers played various games together with “123 Event”, while mothers were treated to a real beauty treat with a hair lecture by Irina Golubova and a perfumery tasting by perfume educator Edita Vigelytė.

“I was a calm and good child at home, but crazy with my friends. I needed company, communication and activity. I attended karate, basketball, athletics, dance. My parents allowed me to try everything, but directed me more towards dancing,” says dance coach Saulius Skambinas.

His son Majus attends gymnastics, diving and swimming, and his daughter attends artistic gymnastics.

“For now, we offer the clubs to children, but if they say they don’t want to do something, we would let them choose,” S. Skambinas is convinced.
