The accusations against the director came from her council member Raimonda Remeikienė, who is an employee of the Youth Center.

On Monday, April 29, the Ethics Commission of the Alytus City Municipal Council decided to open an investigation into the compliance of the behavior of R. Remeikienė, a member of the Alytus City Municipal Council and a teacher at the Alytus Youth Center, with the requirements of the Law on the Reconciliation of Public and Private Interests of the Republic of Lithuania, which obliges to avoid a conflict of public and private interests, and when such a conflict arises – to step aside. The politician did not do this at the joint committee meeting before the council, held on April 22, when the report of her workplace manager was considered.
