La Zarra’s song “Évidemment” was considered one of the favorites of the competition before the final, but it ended up in 16th place in the final leaderboard.

Such a result did not satisfy La Zarra, which did not escape the eyes of watchful spectators. As the results were announced, the camera turned to the 35-year-old artist, who was visibly upset by the scores.

The performer on the screen looked annoyed and just waved her hands up, shrugging her shoulders. Vigilant viewers noticed that the singer is showing the middle finger of her right hand.

A little later, La Zarra herself reacted to this act, which began to be actively discussed on social networks. The singer claimed that her gesture was simply misunderstood.

“Even though I represent France, I am a representative of another culture,” he said. “This is not a negative gesture.” On the contrary, it is simply a gesture of frustration that we use between friends. But I can understand that it is considered a slightly different gesture abroad.”

This year, a total of 37 countries participated in Eurovision, of which 2022 automatically entered the grand final. the winner Ukraine and the so-called “big five” – ​​the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy and Spain, who receive a free pass to the event thanks to their financial contribution.

The winner of the competition was the Swedish representative Loreen. Lithuanian representative Monika Linkytė took 11th place.
