April 29 – May 3 field tactics exercises of the soldiers of the “Iron Iron” Infantry Brigade of the Lithuanian Army of the NATO Forward Forces combat group will take place in the districts of Kaišiadorių, Kaunas and Jonava.
Soldiers will conduct a campaign on foot and in wheeled vehicles, conducting terrain analysis and reconnaissance.
During the exercise, the rules of nature protection will be followed, vehicles will move only on roads, pyrotechnics and simulation will not be used in the exercise in populated areas. Civilians’ daily activities will not be disrupted.

Another training will start this week. April 25 – June 21 The Training and Military Support Center of the Special Operations Forces of the Lithuanian Armed Forces organizes a training cycle for young soldiers. Soldiers will learn how to navigate, monitor, detect and neutralize enemy soldiers and their supporters in the forests of Ilgakiemis and Ežerelis.
On May 1-2, the Training and Military Support Center of the Special Operations Forces of the Lithuanian Armed Forces will conduct training for soldiers in Kačerginė, Kaunas district (57 J. Janonios str., the territory of the former “Merkurijus” camp). Soldiers will learn to detect, monitor and neutralize enemy forces. Military vehicles and simulated ammunition will be used during the training.
