The Lithuanian Artistic Gymnastics Equipment Championship was held in Gargždais, where gymnasts from Vilnius, Kaunas and Klaipėda competed.
The gymnasts of Klaipėda “Viesulo” sports center performed well and were decorated with medals of all colors.
In the youth group (2013 mg), Mariela Usik won the second place in the all-around, student Rusnė Pagojūtė won the silver medal, Mariela Usik won the 1st place in the exercise with the bow, Elija Vilnonytė – the 3rd place, Mariela Usik took the 1st place in the exercise with the ball, Rusnė Pagojūtė – the 3rd place, Mariela Usik took 2nd place in the beam exercise.
In the junior group (2011-2012 mg), there were no equals for “Viesulos” gymnasts in hoop and beam exercises.
Lilija Maiboroda, a pupil of the “Viesulo” sports center (2012 mg), won the first place and got a gold medal, Abigelė Pucetaitė (2012 mg) won the silver medal, and the third place and bronze medal went to Akvilei Jočyte (2011 mg). In the exercise with the ball, prizes were also won: Lilija Maiboroda – first, Abigelė Pucetaitė – 2nd. In the exercise with the ribbon, Julija Voločko took 1st place, Lilija Maiboroda – 2nd place, Abigelė Pucetaitė – 3rd place.
In the youth group (2009-2010 mg), the representative of “Viesulo” sports center Anastasija Voločko won the silver medal in the exercise with the ball and the bronze in the exercise with the ribbon.
Skaistė Razokaitė (2008 mg) performed best in the adult group (2008 mg and older) and won the gold medals in the bow and beam exercises for Klaipėda. Victoria Staponas won bronze medals in exercises with a ball and with a ribbon.
The winner was prepared for the competition by Neda Jušče, Valentina Bagrijeva, Viktorija Petrova, Dovilė Vilnonė, artistic gymnastics coaches of the “Viesulo” sports center.
In this championship, the gymnasts who will defend the name of Lithuania at the European Artistic Gymnastics Championship held in Budapest, Hungary on May 22-26 were revealed.
The representative of “Viesulo” Skaistė Razokaitė will be the first gymnast, while the second and third gymnasts from Vilnius Milana Tricolici and Fausta Šostakaitė will be.
Skaistė and Milana will perform three exercises at the European Championship, Fausta – 2 exercises.
