Users sharing a short video on social networks comment that Mr. Kadyrov seems to be struggling to climb the stairs, and then is unable to take off his clothes without help.

“From the video, it seems that Kadyrov used up all his strength to climb the stairs,” commented social network users.

The publication “Novaya Gazeta Europa” recently announced that the leader of Chechnya, R. Kadyrov, is seriously ill, and the Kremlin is wondering who will replace him in the event of his death or incapacity due to health conditions. According to the publication, in January 2019, doctors diagnosed R. Kadyrov with “pancreatic necrosis” for the first time.

Putin, 71, has ruled Russia since the turn of the century, securing a new six-year mandate after Russia’s March election spectacle in which the opposition was barred from running.

During the inauguration ceremony, V. Putin stated that Russia will survive the current “difficult” period, become stronger and win victory. “We will survive this difficult period with dignity and become even stronger,” Putin said, adding: “We are a united and great nation and together we will overcome all obstacles, implement everything we have planned and win together.”

V. Putin also said that he considers leading Russia a “sacred duty”. “Serving Russia is a great honor, responsibility and sacred duty”, – in the gold glittering Kremlin St. V. Putin stated in Andrew’s Hall.

Yulia Navalnaya, the widow of the deceased Kremlin critic Alexei Navalny, called V. Putin a “liar, thief, murderer” before the inauguration. Mr. Navalnaya promised to continue the work of her husband, the main opponent of Mr. Putin, who died in an Arctic prison in February.

“Our country is led by a liar, a thief and a murderer. But it will definitely end,” Navalnaya, who lives in exile, said in the video.

In her words, the last term of V. Putin was marked by a “bloody and pointless war” in Ukraine and political repressions in Russia. “There are several hundred political prisoners in Russia suffering inhumane conditions,” she said. “New cases are opened every day.”

Mr Navalnaya said Mr Putin’s “promises” to improve living standards during his more than two decades of rule were “empty and fraudulent”. “It has been going on for 25 years. It will be the same this time, she said. “With each term of his office, everything is only getting worse, it’s scary to imagine what will happen while V. Putin is in power.”
