Earthquake-like tremors on the Danish island of Bornholm in the Baltic Sea on Saturday puzzled the country’s officials.
Danish police officers from the island confirmed the reports to the dpa news agency.
The police announced on Twitter that the cause of the earthquakes on Bornholm’s east coast has not yet been determined.
The police could not provide more information, but assured that they are cooperating with the relevant services.
The island, home to less than 40,000 people, is located 150 km east of Copenhagen, between Sweden and Poland.
