The State Energy Regulatory Council (VERT) on Thursday approved the upper limit of the public electricity price of UAB “Ignitis” for household consumers for the second half of this year.
When purchasing electricity from medium voltage (MV) networks, the price including VAT will reach 12.544 ct/kWh (1.757 cents or 12.28% lower than the current one), while the upper limit of the price of low voltage (LV) networks is set at 19.221 ct/kWh with VAT (1.757 cents or 8.37 percent lower).
The upper limit of the public price consists of the purchase price of electricity, the price of public interest services (VIAP), the upper limit of the price of the public supply service and the forwarding service tariff plan, which is applied to at least 95 percent of the public supplier’s users, the weighted average of the tariffs and the set additional component forwarding service prices.
