This was reported on Tuesday by the “Sova” portal, which is based on “Ukrinform”.

The programmers expressed their support for the Kartveli nation in its struggle for democracy, freedom and prosperity and the wish that Sakartveli, “free from Russian influence, realizes its desire for a bright future”.

They also appealed to the Prime Minister of Sakartvel.

“If your government continues to use the same standard of police brutality against protesters, we will respond with even more brutal cyber attacks against government websites,” the statement said.

The programmers recalled their previous response to the actions of officials against people protesting against the foreign agents law, which is being tried by the ruling party “Sakartwell’s Dream”.

“Anonymous has recently attacked Sarkartwell government websites, more than 30 websites, most of which are now down. These actions are a response to police violence against peaceful protesters in Tbilisi and Batumi,” they emphasized.

The programmers added that the state media, which “performs the function of a propaganda channel”, was also attacked.

“The Kremlin’s puppet government in Sakartvel is imposing Russia’s “foreign agents” law on the country in order to silence independent media and organizations critical of the government,” Anonymous hackers write.

As Ukrinform previously reported, on the night of April 30 to May 1 in the capital Sakartvelo, the police detained many protesters demanding the cancellation of the draft law on “foreign agents”.
