Today around 12 o’clock A head-on collision between an electric SUV “Dacia Spring” and a passenger minibus “Peugeot Boxer” took place in the neighborhood of Garliava, the reasons for which the police cannot explain yet. The woman driving the SUV needed the help of firefighters and doctors.

This collision on the Rokai highway, which was reported at 12:15 p.m., took place near the village of Ražiškii.

After receiving a report that there are trapped people, firefighters and rescuers rushed to the scene together with the police and ambulance.

According to the representative of the Kaunas Fire Rescue Board, the Dacia Spring driver was pulled out by her colleagues only after using expanders and scissors to open the car door. The driver of the SUV, who was conscious, was placed on a rescue board and handed over to paramedics. They took her to Kaunas clinics.

According to the representative of the Kaunas police, due to the injuries suffered by the 54-year-old woman, it was not possible to determine at the scene whether she was driving the SUV sober. This will be done in Clinics. The 24-year-old man driving the minibus was sober.
