Before the first semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest, there is good news for Silvester Belt

Silvester Belt was escorted to Malmö with a large team on April 25. A few days later, the performer tried the Eurovision stage for the first time, and the day before the semi-final, a dress rehearsal took place.

The forecasts for the representative of Lithuania have changed

As soon as he won the national selection, many had no doubts that we should see Silvester Belt in the grand final of Eurovision. Bookmakers also predict a place in the final for the representative of Lithuania – in their opinion, 95%. the probability that the performer will appear on Saturday.

Before the rehearsals began, the bookies predicted the 14th place for the representative of Lithuania, but after the artist tried the stage of the song contest, where he appeared with an improved performance, the predictions changed.

According to the portal eurovisionworld.com, after the rehearsals, Silvester Belt’s success is more likely – half a day before the first semi-final, he is predicted to take 11th place.

So far, Croatia’s Baby Lasagna with Rim Tim Tagi Dim has the best chance of winning the competition. The second place is predicted for the Swiss Nemo and his song “The Code”.

Bookmakers also see excellent chances for the representatives of Italy, Ukraine and Ireland in the song contest – they are predicted to place in the top five.

A total of 15 artists will appear in the semi-finals of the first song contest organized this year in the Swedish city of Malmö on Tuesday evening, and ten of them will enter the final on Saturday.

The 26-year-old representative of Lithuania, whose real name is Silverstras Beltė, will appear in the semifinals as number three.

The right to host this year’s Eurovision Song Contest for Sweden was won by Loreen last year in Liverpool with the song “Tatoo”.

Loreen became the first female performer to win the contest twice, and it was Sweden’s seventh Eurovision win, tying Ireland for the most wins.

Lithuania participated in Eurovision for the first time 30 years ago, when Ovidijus Vyšniauskas took the last place with the song “Lopšinė mylimai” with zero points. Lithuania’s highest achievement is the sixth place in the 2006 competition, which was won by the group “LT United” with the song “We Are the Winners”.
