“Žalgiris” overcame the first hurdle in the “FPRO LFF Cup” tournament – the Panevėžys team was defeated 2:1 at home.
In the first half, Armin Hodžičius scored a goal, in the second, after Yukiyoshi Karashima’s kick, the ball went into the goal from Jovan Čadženović. Nika Kacharava scored a consolation goal for the guests at the end of the match.
Compared to the previous match, there were 2 changes in the starting line-up – this time O. Verbickas and A. Hodžičius played from the beginning. J. Larsson and B. Traore could not help the team due to injuries.
4 minutes during the quick attack, “Panevėžys” strikers made two shots, the first was saved by A. Tordai, and the second was blocked by J. Kendyšas.

82 min. Mr. Golubickas brought L. Antalis into a confrontation with the goalkeeper, but the striker missed the goal area.
93 min. N. Kacharava scored a goal for Panevėžius from the middle of the penalty area.
