Pro-Palestine protests continue to spread in educational institutions around the world.

Following the lead of the US, students in Europe, Australia, Mexico and Canada are occupying their campuses, blocking university buildings and raising demands.

For example, last night the police brought out dozens of students from the Institute of Political Studies building in Paris, whose alumni include President Emmanuel Macron and Prime Minister Gabriel Attal.

Protesters waved Palestinian flags and chanted slogans in support of the people of Gaza. Authorities said police will now be deployed outside the institute, which has switched to distance learning mode due to the protests.

French students also staged protests outside the Sorbonne University and several other universities in the country, including the universities of Lille and Lyon.

They accuse the authorities of being Israel’s accomplices in the extermination of the people of Gaza and demand an end to all cooperation with the Jewish state.

The same position is taken by the students of the University of Lausanne in Switzerland, who occupied the building of the Faculty of Politics and Social Sciences.

In Berlin, about 30 participants of the so-called “Court of Honor” yesterday blocked entrance to the main building of Humboldt University.

The head of the university, Julia von Blumenthal, tried to negotiate with the demonstrators, but they refused and called her a “Zionist”.

The guardians of law and order intervened in the situation. According to the police, the protesters chanted the anti-Israeli slogan “From the river to the sea”, banned in Germany.

Israel’s ambassador to Germany, Ron Prosor, expressed outrage at the protest at Humboldt University, noting that the demonstrators “glorified hatred and violence against Jews.”

Meanwhile in Australia at the University of Sydney clashed among them hundreds of pro-Palestinian and pro-Israeli demonstrators.

Despite the “tense exchange of opinions”, both rallies passed peacefully.

Also in Mexico, dozens of pro-Palestinian students camped outside the country’s largest National Autonomous University in Mexico City.

The pro-Israel support coalition appears to be losing the information war.
