Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu posted a video message on the social network X (formerly Twitter) on the occasion of his discharge from the hospital after hernia surgery.

In it, he claims that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) “accidentally” hit the cars of World Central Kitchen (WCK) workers.

“These things happen in war, we will investigate it fully…. We are in contact with the governments and will do everything to prevent this from happening again,” Netanyahu said in a video message, quoted by Reuters.

Today, April 2, WCK reported, that seven of its employees were killed in an Israeli strike in the Gaza Strip. They transported more than 100 tons of humanitarian aid from the warehouse, which was brought to Gaza by sea.

Among the dead are nationals of Australia, Poland, Britain, Palestine and a worker with dual citizenship from the US and Canada.

The WCK claims that the workers’ actions were coordinated with the IDF.

Israeli military spokesman Daniel Hagari expressed his condolences for the victims and said the incident was being investigated at the “highest level,” quoting him as “The Times of Israel” publication.
