April 20 “Conversation with Ch. Eidsonu: “Crucify me” and other memories”. Chuck Eidson, who came to Vilnius from the USA, talked with Paulius Ambrazevičius about life after the end of his career, the golden season of “Ryto”, fan culture, sentiments for Vilnius and watched never-before-seen behind-the-scenes footage of the trophy celebration from the personal archives of Artūrs Jomants.

“I would have liked to stay here my whole career. I just fit in here. You know what I mean, I felt like an American who is actually Lithuanian. It just made sense,” Ch. Eidsonas said about the opportunity to stay in Vilnius “Ryte” during the interview.

“I was what I was, but at some point I realized that my career wasn’t going to be that long, I had to take care of my family and I didn’t like all the training. The team with which I signed a contract trained for an hour and a half and that’s all, so I don’t like that it had an influence, but it did,” said the Vilnius “Ryto” legend with a smile on his face.

“I was very pleased to see it. Every European arena has a sector, usually in the upper corner, but you rarely come to an arena where it seems that the entire arena is the main component of your fan base, – said Ch. Eidson. – I was very impressed with it. It’s fun to be a part of it. It’s fun for my kids to see, too, because in the States, people just sit around. This is special.”
