McLaren CEO Zak Brown has said the championship-winning team is starting to fall apart after Red Bull’s famous engineer Adrian Newey decided to leave. Max Verstappen, the champion of the last three years, decided to comment on these statements.
“He obviously wants to shake things up. It can’t help us as a team. I understand his point of view. Everyone is trying to attract our people, it’s normal in today’s F-1. But these things don’t really interest me. I see the headlines, but I don’t even click on them.
You can never guarantee everything in life. I might just not wake up tomorrow. I want to say that you can never know everything 100 percent in life. Of course, there are a lot of compromises, but in the end, the most important thing is that everyone is satisfied with their work and feels valued in the team. It is related to many human aspects”, said M. Verstappen.
