The Greeks, after drowning “Ryta” in the Champions League, fell in the drama of the semi-finals

Peristeri lost 93:97 (23:19, 19:24, 18:23, 33:31) to Lenovo from Tenerife in the final four of the Champions League organized in Belgrade.

Kyle Guy scored 34 points for the winners, hitting 6/11 three-pointers.

40-year-old veteran Marcelinho Huertas added 27 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assists and even 32 utility points.

The “Peristeri” team, which took just the third place in group A, defeated “Ryta” dryly 2-0 in the elimination series and embarked on an impressive campaign.

Vassilis Spanuolis’ team took the second place in the group at the Top 16 stage, and missed out only to the semi-final rival Lenovo team.

In the quarter-final series, Peristeri defeated Telekom Baskets Bonn from Germany 2-1, while Lenovo also defeated Tofaš 2-1.

In the other semi-final, Spanish teams UCAM Murcia and Unicaja Malaga meet late on Friday night.
