The Russian head of boxing, who called the representatives of the Olympic Committee pigs, remained behind bars – the organization will not return to the IOC

The final report of the Court of Arbitration (CAS) asserts that on the day of the appealed decision, the IBA association, headed by the former confidant of Russian President Vladimir Putin and now businessman Umar Kremliov, did not comply with the conditions of recognition set by the IOC.

U.Kremliov and the organization were accused of corruption and embezzlement of funds, and both he and the federation he led were constantly criticized for their management principles.

The IBA is believed to have failed to increase its financial transparency and sustainability, with unclear but implied traces of Russian money in the organization, and the IBA has not changed its approach to referees to ensure fairness in handing out tickets to the 2024 Paris Olympics.

The IBA also ignored the measures proposed by the IOC’s “Governance Reform Group”, including a change in the organization’s leadership.

As a result, the CAS decided that these arguments were valid, and the IOC was right to withdraw the IBA’s recognition and to emphasize that the IOC’s demands outweighed the IBA’s rights.

Before suing the IOC, U.Kremliov loudly shouted that he would win the court, that his organization would return to the Olympics with a bang, and he called the Olympic Committee a pigsty.

“I have mentioned that sport needs to be cleansed of dirty sports politicians. We will deal with those pigs that have recently been bred in a very Olympic family and in the house. They need to be locked up in a barn – let them rub on each other and be dirty there by themselves.

Our mission is to protect the interests of athletes, the head of the IBA told the propaganda Russian television “Match TV”. – Boxing is the most popular sport in the Olympic Games… They are afraid of us, they did not dare to completely remove boxing from the Olympic Games. They don’t want to lose money.”
