Jonas Sirtautas will represent the Radford “Highlanders” team in the NCAA next season.

Jonas Sirtautas, who did not play a single match in his debut NCAA season, chose a new career stop.

The Lithuanian will stay outside of Atlant, where he will represent the Radford Highlanders team in the NCAA starting next season.

This season, the 21-year-old 206 cm tall basketball player, along with fellow Lithuanian Oleg Kojonets, belonged to the Wyoming “Cowboys” team, where he did not get a chance to appear and added his name to the NCAA exchange portal after the season.

“I can’t thank the coaches and the entire staff of the Wyoming team enough,” Sirtautas wrote. “I want to inform you that I have decided to add myself to the exchange portal.”

The Highlanders went 16-17 this season and finished eighth out of nine in the Big South Conference before falling in the quarterfinals in the playoffs and missing out on March Madness.

Before leaving for the USA in 2022-2023 The son of Darius Sirtautas, the winner of the LKL scoring competition in the season, collected 4.7 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist and 2.6 utility points in the Regional Basketball League (RKL).
