Another 10 countries made it to the Eurovision final: acrobat Nemo, Estonians and brother Dons are celebrating | Names

Performers from 37 countries are competing for the name of the winner at the 68th contest, which will take place in the Swedish city of Malmö in the second week of May. Although the first 15 of the lucky ones going to the finals were already revealed during the first semi-final, on Thursday the stage was heated again – 16 more participants fought.

Malta, Albania, Greece, Switzerland, Czech Republic, France, Austria, Denmark, Armenia, Latvia, Spain, San Marino, Sakartvel, Belgium, Estonia, Italy, Israel, Norway and the Netherlands appeared in the second semi-final of Eurovision.

After all the performances, it became clear that Latvia, Austria, Netherlands, Norway, Israel, Greece, Estonia, Switzerland, Sakartvel, Armenia have reached the finals and will perform on the big Eurovision stage on Saturday.

The first lucky 15 was revealed during the first semi-final. Then the following won the ticket to the finals: Lithuania, Serbia, Portugal, Slovenia, Ukraine, Finland, Cyprus, Croatia, Ireland and Luxembourg.

Malta’s Sarah Bonnici was the first to take the stage with the rhythmic song “Loop”. During her performance, four energetic dancers danced together, heating up the whole arena with their movements.

Albanian star Besa Kokëdhima performed the second number at the Malmö Arena with the song “Zemër n’dorë”. During the performance of the piece, mysterious dancers appeared together with the performer.

The third representative of Greece, Marina Satti, appeared on stage. She performed the song “Zari” whose southern rhythms rocked the entire arena.

The favorite Swiss artist Nemo appeared fourth on the stage. While performing the song “The code”, he demonstrated not only his high vocal abilities, but also connected rap verses. Watching his performance can be dizzying – the Swiss was spinning a disc placed on the stage while singing the song.

Aiko, the representative of the Czech Republic, entered the stage of the Malmö Arena with the fifth number. The performer tried to enter the Eurovision final with the song “Pedestal”. She ended her performance with the movements of the popular “Wednesday” dance.

After the Czech Republic, the Frenchman Slimane appeared on the stage, and as a representative of the big five of Eurovision, he goes straight to the final. He performed the lyrical song “Mon Amour” on stage.

The seventh stage featured the lyrical representative of Denmark, Saba, with the song “Sand”. Watching her performance, you could really feel like you were on the sandy seashore – the stage effects fascinated many Eurovision fans.

Armenia’s representatives Ladaniva appeared eighth, and they prepared to hold another Eurovision party. When their song “Jako” sounded, the whole Malmö arena was buzzing.

Sakartvelo star Nutsa Buzaladze made his eleventh appearance at the Malmö Arena. The singer performed the piece “Firefighter”, during which four passionate dancers also appeared.

On the twelfth, Mustii, one of the favorites from Belgium, took the stage with the song “Before the Party’s Over”. This song also received special support in the Malmö Arena – the words of the song sounded on the lips of the audience.

Crazy Estonians 5miinust & Puuluup appeared in the arena at number thirteen with the song “(Nendest) narkootikumidest ei tea me (küll) magida”. During their performance, not only the audience in the Malmö Arena, but also behind the television screens, went wild together.

After Estonia, the representative of Italy, Angelina Mango, who went directly to the finals, appeared. The song “La Noia”, which was already a hit, made the entire Malmö arena dance. Fireworks crowned the Italian’s performance.

We remind you that the Eurovision format has not changed since 2008. The semi-finals are held over two days, from which the 10 countries with the most votes advance to the finals. 26 countries appear in the final – the host of the competition (Sweden) and the “big five”, which includes the organizers – Germany, Spain, France, the United Kingdom, Italy.

Voting begins when the representatives of all countries appear, and the votes of the commission and the audience are divided in half – 50% each. The country with the most votes receives 12 “Eurovision” points, followed by 10, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.
