“I know that many spend the weekend partying, but this is how I prepare for the event. It’s really happening,” Mr. Biel said in a TikTok video of the bath salts being poured.
In 2012, Ms. Biel appeared at the Met Gala with then-fiancé Justin Timberlake. Celebrities got married in Italy in October 2012. The couple has two sons – Phineas, who is four and a half, and Silas, who is nine and a half. True, this time she attended the event without her husband.
This year’s Met Gala theme is directly related to the Costume Institute’s new exhibit, which will feature 250 objects, including fifteen very special exhibits. One of them is a silk evening dress designed by Charles Frederick Worth in 1877. The exhibition covers more than 400 years of fashion history.
According to Costume Institute Executive Curators Wendy Yu and Andrew Boltin, the exhibition focuses on three dimensions: land, sea and sky. Such a choice aims to pay tribute to nature.
“It’s basically an ode to nature and the emotional poetics of fashion,” Bolton said.
The dress code for the 2024 Met Gala event was The Garden of Time, inspired by JG Ballard’s work of the same name.
