The NordBalt electricity connection with the conductor, which was out of action for more than a day and a half due to a fault, was reconnected on Tuesday evening after repairs, the operator of the Lithuanian electricity transmission system, Litgrid, announced.
The company informed that the connection was connected on Tuesday, at 8:14 p.m., and it is now available for intraday trading.
The high voltage direct current connection was disconnected on Monday morning due to a fault in the converter station on the transmission side. It was determined that the disconnection was due to a fault in one of the inverter’s own power cables. He is, according to Litgrid, well-oiled.
