It will be hot in Lithuania on Sunday, temperatures up to 25 degrees are expected, but hail may fall in places. At that time, rain, thunderstorms and frost are expected at the beginning of the week, forecasters inform.
As announced by the Lithuanian Hydrometeorological Service, there will be brief rain and thunderstorms in places on Sunday. Hail is possible in some places. Wind changing direction, 5-10 m/s, gusts of 15-18 m/s in some places during thunderstorms. The highest temperature will reach 20-25 degrees Celsius.
On Monday, it will rain in many places, in some places heavily. Thunderstorms in places. Wind changing direction, at night, 4-9 m/s, during the day 7-12 m/s. The temperature at night is 7-12, during the day 15-20, in places in the northern part of the country 11-14 degrees Celsius.
On Tuesday night, it will rain in many places, during the day it will rain briefly in some places. Wind from the north, 8-13 m/s. The temperature at night will be 3-8 degrees Celsius, in some places it will be 0-2 degrees cold. It will warm up to 11-16 degrees during the day.
No rain is expected on Wednesday. Wind north, northwest, 6-11 m/s. The temperature at night will be 1-6 degrees Celsius, the air will be 0-5 degrees cold in many places, and the soil surface will be frosty in many places. It will warm up to 11-16 degrees during the day.
Forecasters say that, based on current estimates, the heat should remain similar for the rest of the day.
