The 22-year-old tennis player confidently defeated Grigor Dimitrov (ATP-9) 6:3, 6:1 in the men’s singles final on Sunday and won the second Masters trophy of his career.

For the Italian tennis master, the third time in Miami did not lie – in 2021 and 2023 he lost the finals in Florida, but in the third attempt he finally picked up the champion’s trophy.

J. Sinner continues to show fantastic results this season and has won 22 victories and suffered the only loss to Carlos Alcaraz in the tournament in Indian Wells. In the last 45 matches on the ATP tour, he has won as many as 42 times.

For the Italian, who has participated in four tournaments this year, this is already the third championship he has won, having previously triumphed at the Australian Open and Rotterdam.

Having won 1.1 million US dollars and 1,000 ATP rating points, J. Sinner will rise to the second position in the ATP rating for the first time in his career, surpassing Carlos Alcaraz.

The young tennis player became the first representative of his country to win at least two Masters trophies. Overall, this is his 13th tournament win on the ATP Tour.

G. Dimitrov will receive 585 thousand. US dollars and 650 ATP rating points, which will allow the Bulgarian to return to the top ten of the most powerful tennis players on the planet for the first time since 2018 – he will be ninth.
