Observing workplaces, analyzing production rates and other data revealed that the only available Bonell-type spring block machine with a capacity of 60 springs/min. is already on the critical production limit with the available orders. after assessing our growth and risks, a decision was made and we received an offer to supplement our range with two Bonell spring automatic machines, recalls Padvaiskas and Ko director. During the technological audit, it was also established that only one type of spring is produced at a time in the production of Pocket type springs, and it takes a lot of time to produce several types of springs. In order to meet customer needs and ensure timely production, we decided to purchase a new Pocket spring production line.

As orders increase and there is a need to increase production capacity, it is necessary to update the production process using innovative solutions, installing equipment with integrated digitization technologies, therefore it was recommended to acquire flexible production equipment. In the course of the project, the production equipment for the spring and j-block required for the production of the seat was purchased, as well as the product assembly robot. This already contributes to increasing our employment, says the head of the Business Productivity Department of the Innovation Agency.
The available Bonell event turns 60 springs/min. and the new machines are 160 per min. The effect of the new arrangement is even greater when its newness is compared with hand-turned springs, because the mogs turn about 50 springs per minute, or 3 times less than the new one can do. Also, 4% less floor space and 7% less electricity are consumed.
