We remind you that representatives of the Kaunas police told the portal kauno.diena.lt that the report about the traffic accident was received at 2:50 p.m. Upon arrival, it turned out that a Volvo and an ambulance collided at the intersection of Pramonės avenue and Draugystės street. Medics went to the call, beacons were turned on.
Two employees of the emergency medical service, born in 1998 and 2002, were brought to the treatment facility. The driver of the Volvo (born in 2004) was sober.
Kaunas residents reported the accident in the Facebook group “Where is the Police in Kaunas”. An ambulance can be seen overturned on its side, its windows shattered, and parts strewn all over the street. The accident happened at a traffic light regulated intersection.
Drivers were warned that there was a traffic jam on Pramonės avenue.
