The conference is part of the IX International Šiauliai Piano Duet Festival. The festival has been held in Šiauliai since 1993. The festival is under the patronage of Šiauliai Mayor Artūras Visockas.

The festival is organized by the public institution “Community civic activities projects” in cooperation with Šiauliai Saulius Sondeckis art gymnasium, children’s music schools in Radviliškis, Akmenės, Joniškis, Kuršėnai, Pakruoj and Kelmės. The artistic director of the festival is Rimantas Vingras.

The project is financed by the Lithuanian Council of Culture and Šiauliai City Municipality, supported by the piano salon “Organum” and VšĮ “Pravers”. Festival partner – Šiauliai of the county Povilas Vyšinskis public library.
