After repeated questioning about the prohibited items in her possession, the twenty-four-year-old passenger admitted that she had narcotics in her purse. A folded piece of paper containing a powder of a white crystalline substance, possibly a narcotic, was found in her purse. The woman said she bought them for herself, for personal use.

Vigilant officers of the capital’s Traffic Police Department noticed that a plastic bag was dropped and crystal material was scattered on the footpath, exactly at the place where the people who got out of the BMW stood, which were collected and will be handed over for investigation.

During the inspection of the car, license plates were found in the trunk, which were possibly used in committing criminal acts. It soon became clear that on May 6 around 10 p.m. 4 minutes A fuel theft was committed at the gas station, Didiuli str., Trakai r., Dėdeliškiu k., – the video cameras captured exactly this BMW brand car with the license plates that were just found in its trunk. The passenger (born in 1991), who was driving the BMW at the time, admitted to committing the theft and leaving without paying for it.

The driver and a twenty-four-year-old female passenger were brought to the police station. A pre-trial investigation has been initiated into the illegal possession of narcotic or psychotropic substances without the intention of distributing them (Article 259 d. 1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Lithuania).
