The “Michelin” clip immediately greets you with views of the Vilnius old town panorama and the Nida dunes, enchanting architecture and nature trails, kayaking and the Trakai lakes, of course, showing the audience what the restaurant guide “Michelin guide” cares about the most – delicious dishes that can be tasted in a romantic environment of restaurants and cafes.

Dovilė Seliukė, Head of the Tourism Marketing and Communication Department of Vši “Travel in Lithuania”, revealed that the Michelin team used footage from the series of video clips created by Vši “Keliauk Lithuania” together with “Wide wings” to present Lithuania to create this video clip. “The clips were created based on the strategy of the country’s delivery abroad “Lithuania. Co-create” and the renewed positioning of the country’s tourism, which highlights the main tourism products: culture, nature, wellness. It is they who are trying to be answered with different video clips”, explained D. Seliukė.

The representative of “Keliauk Lithuania” is in no hurry to assess the impact of the scandalous “Go Vilnius” campaign on Lithuanian tourism.

“GO Vilnius” campaigns are always accompanied by exclusivity, courage, creativity – this is part of their positioning and identity. This promotional clip is no exception – bright, defiant and attention-grabbing, but fully in line with the brand’s stylistics and consistent communication.

It will be possible to evaluate the impact of the advertisement only after the campaign. I have no doubt that colleagues from “Go Vilnius” will share the results of the campaign, when we will be able to say whether the advertisement has reached its target audience and the main goal – to attract tourists to Lithuania”, said D. Seliukė.
