The queen of “Eurovision” – Swedish music stars Loreen – is returning to Lithuania

In the calendar of the music agency “8 Days A Week” there is another new but well-known name. All Eurovision fans should shut up. To Lithuania in 2025 February 22 the queen of Eurovision, two-time winner of the most important song contest in the world and one of the brightest stars of Swedish music, Loreen, is back. Swedish music star Loreen will perform live at the Twinsbet Arena in the capital next winter.

And it’s better that no one bothers to convince her that something is technically impossible, because she will just point her finger at what and how to do it so that her vision is fulfilled down to the last detail. Euphoria

There is no doubt that her first Eurovision victory with the song “Euphoria” acted as a springboard, but Loreen admits that she was full of fears at the time. What to do when deep inside you want to hide in the darkness of your childhood comfort zone, but you need to appear in front of almost two hundred million viewers on the other side of the screen? Loreen created the atmosphere of the show close to herself, the scenography and set strict rules for the team. In Eurovision 2012, turning on the siren and flashing lights for a short time before the song seemed to many to be nonsense, but Loreen’s decision drew everyone’s attention and controlled the energy. The song “Euphoria” was mysterious, full of mystical energy, and Loreen was in her own shadow for most of the performance. During the entire competition, she did not allow anyone accompanying her to even say what they write, say about her and what the rules of the “Eurovision” game are.

After eleven years, Loreen returned to win Eurovision again with the bright and very open song “Tattoo”. Symbolically, in 2023, the show was as different as night and day: a bright color scheme inspired by her Moroccan roots, shade at the back rather than the front, no fear of appearing vulnerable. It is true that the technical nuances of the performance of “Tattoo” gave the organizers of the competition a headache. It was not allowed to hang LED platforms weighing almost 2 tons.
