On June 1-2, in a wonderful location near the forest, in the fresh air, at Savanorių st. 4, Klaipėda, the opening tournament of the padel summer season will be held, inviting all padel enthusiasts to a memorable event.
“There has never been such a tournament in Klaipėda,” the organizers said. – We were the first to bring the sport of padel tennis to the port city, in 2020 we were the first to establish padel courts, and very soon, we will invite all enthusiasts of this sport to the first tournament of such a scale that Klaipėda has not seen yet.
The organizers of the tournament “Klaipėdos Padelis” and “Rote Padelis klubu” promise an event not only for athletes, but also for spectators. It is not for nothing that such world-class stars as Rafael Nadal, Christiano Ronaldo, Shakira and Andy Murray have taken a liking to this sport. It is a sport where excitement, skill, speed and teamwork meet. Such tournaments especially attract spectators, because players demonstrate their talent and abilities and become a true inspiration to others.
This tournament will stand out for its friendly atmosphere, impressive prizes and an affordable entry fee for everyone.
As many as 42 participants will be awarded prizes during the two-day tournament. The organizers will also prepare consolation prizes, and in the finals the players will compete for a €700 ticket for two to a padel camp in Tenerife, instant cameras, etc.
“There has never been a tournament with so many supporters in Klaipėda. Prizes will be awarded after each stage. In the port city, you can usually take part in smaller weekend tournaments, so I sincerely invite not only the players, but also the spectators to make a holiday for themselves and come to the first padel tournament of this scale”, – invites the organizer Sandra from “Klaipėdos Padelis”.
Men’s, women’s and mixed groups will be invited to participate. They will be divided into levels: initial (eng. light), strong (eng. power) and difficult (eng. hard).
It is definitely worth marking this day in your calendars. Those who have touched this sport at least once know that it is not only good for the body, but also food for the soul. The game is a lot of fun not only to play, but also to watch.
