President of CBet club in Jonava Vaid Vashkevich have problems with law enforcement.
According to Krepsinis.net, V. Vaškevičius may have damaged another vehicle in Jonava and fled the scene because he may have been driving under the influence.
When the police officers arrived, they recorded V.Vaškevičius’ average degree of drunkenness, but V.Vaškevičius himself did not admit guilt, claiming that he was intoxicated already after the incident. Currently, the police are conducting a pre-trial investigation.
Artūras Bužavas, the prosecutor of the 5th department of the Kaunas district prosecutor’s office, confirmed to Krepsinis.net that the case is with the police and a pre-trial investigation is underway, but he refused to comment further on the incident in order not to harm the investigation.
For fleeing from the scene, V. Vaškevičius faces a fine and the loss of his driver’s license for 1-3 years. If it is proven that the manager of CBet not only left the scene, but also drove drunk, he will face even more serious troubles.
