We invite you to submit proposals for awarding Alytus city culture prizes

Until 2024 June 1 proposals for awarding cultural prizes of the Alytus City Municipality are accepted.

3 (three) Alytus City Municipality cultural prizes of EUR 2,500 each are awarded:

• 2 (two) bonuses for active creative and/or artistic educational activities of the last two calendar years, significant achievements in fostering the culture of the city of Alytus and promoting the city in the country and abroad;

Natural persons, groups of natural persons (as one candidate), legal persons – representatives of the following cultural fields of Lithuanian and other nations can apply for cultural prizes: architecture, library and museum activities, literature, cultural heritage, ethnoculture, folk art, theater, circus, art , photography, cinema, music, dance, interdisciplinary art. The bonus can be awarded to the same person no earlier than after 4 years.

Both natural and legal persons can propose a candidate. The person proposing the candidate submits a completed form (attached). Copies of documents certifying creative activity, visual material, a list of creative works or references may be attached. The completed candidate’s application form (and additional materials) must be submitted to the municipal administration in the general procedure by June 1 of each year in one of the following ways: a paper application form, accepted at the reception address of the Alytus City Municipality at Rotušės a. 4, Alytus, e-mail by mail to [email protected] or on the portal of administrative and public electronic services https://www.epaslaugos.lt.

Regulations for awarding cultural prizes of the Alytus City Municipality, approved by the Alytus City Municipal Council’s 2013-04-25 decision No. T-106 (wording of decision No. T-146 of the Alytus City Municipal Council 2021-04-29).

The winners of the cultural prizes will be announced during the grand opening of the Alytus city festival “With a fresh wave” in 2024. June 15 at 7 p.m. On the big stage of Alytus Dainai slėni.
