The Lithuanian Social Democratic Party (LSDP) remains the first ranked in the race, while the conservatives traditionally rank second, according to the data of the public survey conducted in April by Spinter Research published in Delphi on Tuesday.

14% of respondents indicated that they voted for LSDP (14.3% in March), while 10.6% of respondents (9.3% in March) supported the Lithuanian Christian Democrats.

6.8% of the population of Lithuania voted for U Liberal (March 6.5%), 6.6% supported the Lithuanian state and oil union (March 7.7%), 5.8% Democratic Union on behalf of Lithuania (March 5.3% ), 5.1% batch Nemunas aura. This is the first time that the latter political force has been investigated.

According to the survey data, the remaining political forces, including the Freedom Party and the Labor Party, did not exceed the 5% threshold and did not enter the Seimas.

Vilija Blinkeviit, LSDP leader, member of the European Parliament, continues to hold the first position in the list of candidates for prime minister. When the respondent was asked which politician or public figure is best suited to hold the position of prime minister, 10.2% indicated him (12.7% in March).

In the second place in this table is the current Prime Minister Ingrida Imonyt with 9.2% mention (March 6.9%), in the third place is the Speaker of the Seimas Viktorija milytNielsen with 6.2% mention (March 5.3%).

71.6% of the respondents rated the current government’s activities negatively, which is the worst result since the beginning of the work of the I. imonyts Cabinet of Ministers in 2020.

In March, such a negative assessment was 68%. Positive assessment was fixed at 20.9% in April and 24.5% in March.

For opinion and market research company Spinter research conducted a representative survey in April 1725, the error is 3.1%. During the research, 1,018 respondents were interviewed.

The next Seimas elections will be held in October.
