LHMT senior forecaster Simona Dalinkevičiūtė says that the mass of clouds moved from southwest to east-northeast on Monday afternoon.
“It is moving towards the central districts of the country. In the course of the day, we expect short showers to pass, some with lightning. More of them are expected in the southern part of the country”, says S. Dalinkevičiūtė.
According to her, in some places hail may fall from more active foci. “Until 4-5 p.m. may still fall out. Today, one can say, the first summer rains will pass,” says the forecaster.

“During the night, the rain will change its character from short-term to continuous, and in the morning, around 5-6, according to the current data, the clouds should leave and it will be a nice, sunny day,” the specialist assures.
