Akira Nakai, the founder of the legendary Porsche tuning company “RWB/RAUH-Welt Begriff” from Japan, who arrived in Vilnius, spent two days assembling the “RWB Porsche 993” for a buyer from Lithuania.
Each Porsche tuned by A. Nakai is unique, dedicated to a specific owner and has its own name. Lrytas.lt according to information, the customer in Lithuania will call his car “Brother”.

A. Nakai combined Japanese and European design elements to create a distinctive RWB style for the Porsche 911 platform. Starting out in a small body shop in Chiba, Japan, RWB’s perfected cars are now found on both the streets and racetracks around the world.
The 53-year-old Japanese customer, who personally travels to clients in various countries, has to wait about a year. Before coming to Vilnius, the Japanese visited the USA, where he prepared several unique RWB Porsche cars.
A. Nakai worked in Vilnius for two days, constantly watched by a large group of spectators. They were asked for restraint and respect for the Japanese constructor, emphasizing: “For some it’s a show, for others it’s work.”
The work of the founder of RWB on the unique “Porsche 993” intended for a Lithuanian for the first time included both the installation of body elements and chassis parts.
In the evening of the first day, there was a queue of people who wanted to get his autograph. One car enthusiast, A. Nakai, spared even the page of his Lithuanian citizen’s passport for his signature.
