Adapting was easy

First a packer, then an assistant production line operator, and now a production line operator. This looks like the identical career line of two Bagfactory employees.

German managed to jump up two positions in about a year, and Raimondi – in two.

“Motivation undoubtedly helped to rise in the position. I remember, as soon as I got a job, I already said that I would like to work as an operator. I won’t hide it, my colleagues who have been doing similar work for many years and trained me well helped me a lot. During the time I’ve been working at Bagfactory, the colleagues here have always been very good. There really wasn’t a time when they didn’t help when something was unclear. Every day, thanks to them, I learned more and more, and even now every day I have to hear and learn something new,” says German.

He adds that it was easy to adapt to the new duties, because thanks to the good environment in the company, it was possible to prepare accordingly. According to the man, the perfectly created environment is the main motivation to continue working and achieve even more.

He is seconded by his colleague Raimondas, who claims that he inherited his motivation and desire to achieve more in life from his mother, who constantly taught him, and the Bagfactory company became the ideal place to realize this.

“I knew that you wouldn’t achieve much in life without hard work, and I’m glad that Bagfactory provided ideal conditions to achieve more.” At the beginning, it may have seemed scary and there were questions about whether it would work, but now I see that the further I go, the more everything in this company goes more smoothly. I would say that the company is good in that simple ways are always found to overcome challenges here, no one is left to solve problems alone, colleagues are happy to help. Having gained such experience, I can now advise others looking for career opportunities on how to go towards their goal,” he emphasizes.

This is one of the proofs of how important ecology is for the company and the fact that Bagfactory shows its contribution to ecology not in words, but in concrete works.

Taking into account the fact that ecology is becoming more and more important around the world every year, Bagfactory constantly encourages its current and future employees to be interested in ecology, educates about it, offers to contribute to the creation of a cleaner planet. From the point of view of the company and the knowledge gained there, German and Raimondu, who are smoothly climbing the career ladder here, are also very happy. According to the men, previously they knew very little about the company itself and the fact that it produces ecologically oriented products or what ecology itself is. Well, having successfully established themselves in the company, now they boldly tell others about ecology.

“I feel very strongly that after working in such a company, I started to pay more attention to ecology, to take care of it. I try to take care of the environment much more often than before, and I encourage others to do the same. What fascinates me is that the company does not shy away from talking a lot about ecology. Even the expression of the opinion of each employee on this topic is highly encouraged”, German shares his experience.

He is also supported by Raimonds, who is happy that many new things can be learned in the company, not only related to the specific workplace and its specifics.

“It’s nice when working here you can see not only the growth of the company and yourself as a specialist, but also the fact that you can improve your knowledge on a globally important topic – ecology, and you understand that you are contributing to this while working.” Before, I knew practically nothing about ecology, but after working here, now I try to tell others about ecology, “says Raimondas.

Since 2015 the operating “Bagfactory” company is currently expanding its team and is looking for production line operators, storekeepers, screen printing and flexographic printing specialists. The list of positions offered will expand in the near future.
