About mothers and grandmothers. Time mate

--

The youth of Alytus share their thoughts about mothers and grandmothers:

1. I love my mom very much. Without her, I wouldn’t be on this earth. What I do know is that my mother could give her life for me, sacrifice herself if I was in trouble, help me.

When my sister went to university in England, she always tried to cheer me up. We would go cook something, watch a movie so I wouldn’t be sad. She kept me distracted and I didn’t feel so sad about my sister leaving.

Mom and dad take me on trips. I have been shown the world since childhood. I go skiing every winter and vacation in the summer. Mom and dad give me the opportunity to travel and see not only Lithuania. I have visited so many beautiful places and have so many good memories.

We also like to cook with my mother. Sometimes on a rainy Sunday we open the dessert book and choose what we want to bake. I think my mom’s cooking is delicious. I really like her apple pie, all kinds of soups, pasta and many other dishes.

My mother taught me to read, recite a poem beautifully, and inspired me to learn the secrets of books. I don’t know, if it wasn’t for my mother, maybe I wouldn’t like to read like many children. But because she told me about interesting books, read and even made up fairy tales in the evenings, I became interested in the world of books.

I am grateful to my mother for understanding me. When my old puppy died, I missed him. I begged my parents for a puppy. My mother agreed for me and helped to persuade my father, and half a year later I already had Dio.

I could name and name what my mother has done, for which I am grateful to her. I only know one thing: if something happens to me, she will be the person I trust, because friends can leave you, no one can like you, but mom will never leave me.

Grandma, it is very strange that you are not there. Very miss you. Your light and kindness still burn in my heart like a candle. How I would like to hug you again. Rest in peace there and know that I love You very much.

2. When my mother Edita and I notice a historical film, we immediately go to see it in the cinema.

And in the summer we travel to Palanga by the sea. Sometimes we go around Dailidė lake.

We go to the sauna on Fridays.

This is how me and my mom spend time together.

This time is very important to me because then I can get to know my mother better.

3. My mother and I often cook, we like to watch movies and play board games. One of the most memorable things we used to do together with my mother would be boiling milk and honey. When I was little, maybe five or six years old, my mother and I made milk honey.

I remember that it was boring to collect milk flowers, but at the same time it was fun to spend time with my mother. When we collected the flowers, I helped my mother make the honey itself. Of course, since I was little, she did more than I did. I really liked the milk honey, although my mother thought that we could not make it.

My mother told me that while we were boiling the honey, I said, “Sacks, bags, and it still comes out.” This saying is still funny to my whole family. I don’t know why this memory has stayed with me until now, it seems like the smallest thing.

4. Aldona – our coolest and most modern grandmother and great-grandmother.

A grandmother with whom iron order reigns at home.

My great-grandmother, who took me around all the streets of Alytus, the paths of the park…

Grandma, who took me to Palanga every summer.

A great-grandmother who cooks the most delicious noodle soup.

A grandmother who, sparing herself and time, took care of my son.

My great-grandmother, whom I visit every weekend.

Grandma, who cooks the most delicious chicken (you don’t even have to ask, she knows I like fried chicken skin browned and crispy).

A great-grandmother who tells interesting and true stories from her life.

A grandmother who is an icon of elegance.

The great-grandmother who will accompany you home with a bag full of yogurts, juices, cheeses…

A grandmother who does not lack a sense of humor, even when she is sick.

A great-grandmother who advises and makes you laugh.

A grandmother who is stubborn.

A great-grandmother who is proud of me.

A grandmother and great-grandmother who loves us unconditionally and we love her.

5. I spend quite a lot of time with my mother. When there is nothing to do, the traditional way is to go for a bike ride. We often ride bicycles around Dailidė, sometimes we go for a walk. After that, we go to a cafe on the train, where I drink hot chocolate and my mother orders coffee.

In the summer we often go to the sea. I really like going to the beach with my mom, because it’s fun and you can rest, swim or sunbathe. Another way to spend your free time is to play chess. Sometimes mom wins and sometimes I win, but I can confirm that mom plays better.

My mother always encourages me to read books. I am happy to do that.
